GunnerPedia
GunnerPedia Privacy Policy
Effective date:
GunnerPedia is an independent, unofficial football-history and fan application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with Arsenal Football Club.
Information you provide
GunnerPedia does not require an account. The app does not ask you to submit your name, email address, password, profile information or other account data to GunnerPedia. In V1, we do not operate a user-account backend. Third-party services used by the app may still process information as described below.
Data stored on your device
Saved/Favorites and relevant app preferences, including local advertising-frequency state, are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to a GunnerPedia server. Images may also be cached locally to make repeat viewing more efficient.
You can generally remove local data by removing saved items in the app where supported, clearing the app’s storage/data in Android settings, or uninstalling the app. Android backup and restore behavior may depend on your device settings.
Advertising
GunnerPedia may display advertisements through Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may process device information, advertising identifiers where permitted, IP address and network information, approximate location derived from network information where applicable, ad interactions, diagnostics and other information used to provide, measure and protect advertising.
This is a general description, not an exhaustive list of every field Google may process. Google’s processing is governed by its own privacy policies and advertising technologies. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising information.
Consent and privacy choices
GunnerPedia uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required to obtain or manage advertising consent and privacy choices. Available options may vary by region. Where Google requires a privacy-options entry, you can access it through the app’s privacy options. GunnerPedia does not operate a separate advertising-consent profile system.
External content and links
GunnerPedia may retrieve or link to externally hosted historical and reference resources, including images or content from Wikimedia/Wikipedia where applicable. Loading these resources or opening external links can connect your device to those services, which have their own privacy practices. See the Wikimedia Foundation Privacy Policy.
Analytics and diagnostics
GunnerPedia does not currently use a separate third-party service for product analytics. This does not mean that no diagnostics are processed: Google Mobile Ads, Android or Google Play services may process diagnostic information as part of their services.
Data sharing
GunnerPedia does not sell users’ personal information. Third-party providers may process information necessary for app functionality, primarily Google for advertising and consent, and external content providers when you access their resources. V1 does not maintain a user-account database to transfer to those providers.
Retention and deletion
GunnerPedia itself does not maintain user accounts or a remote personal-data database in V1. Local preferences and favorites remain on your device until removed, app data is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Third-party providers may retain information according to their own policies.
For privacy questions or requests concerning GunnerPedia, contact virgotric@gmail.com.
Children’s privacy
GunnerPedia is a general football-history application. It does not knowingly request personal information directly from children through an account or profile system. Advertising treatment and age-related settings are subject to Google Play and AdMob configuration.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, its features or third-party services change. The effective date on this page will be revised when material changes are made.
